Starving and tired at 1200 calories, advice?
Post Body

Hello all, I'm new here and I'm trying to lose 50 pounds with calorie counting and light to moderate exercise. I downloaded MFP and set it to lose two pounds a week, which allows 1200 calories. I've been successfully logging 1200 calories daily, and on days I exercise I eat back about half the calories, but I'm finding I feel super starving and exhausted all the time to the point I'm taking naps daily. I'm doing mostly high protein and low carb. I think I might need to bump up my limit to 1500 to lose one pound a week and just exercise more, but the thought that it'll take me a year to lose fifty pounds is depressing. Does anyone have a similar situation or any tips for feeling full at 1200 cals? I would appreciate any advice! I'm on mobile so if I have a flair it's probably wrong - I started at 191 pounds, have been logging for 7 days at 1200 cals, and right now I'm at 187.
