I'm halfway to my weight loss goal and I've read a lot on here about some people who start with just CICO and others who jump in with CICO and exercise.
I have a Fitbit and I try to get 10,000 steps a day - sometimes it's less, sometimes it's more. I think I finally have the motivation to both focus on my calories and do some small exercises.
I looked at r/fitness and a lot of the stuff they were talking about (even in the Q&A section) I just... wasn't in love with.
I want to be able to work out at home (can't afford a gym membership right now) and inside (it's October in Chicago).
I have a bum ankle and a bad shoulder/neck from a car accident I was in. I know I should consult with a doctor (and I will) but you guys have been so helpful in the past - where did you start your exercise journey? Do you use an app? What's your favorite activity to do while exercising? Or is it easiest for you to just exercise and not focus on anything else?
