Hi everyone! Like so many of you I looked in the mirror one day and decided 'this is not what I want'. I joined loseit and here I am!
Since then the hubs and I had a talk, started counting calories on MFP (damn does 1300 calories dissappear fast!), started drinking water (not tons and tons but about 40-50 oz a day). This week we are starting couch to 5k with hopes of signing up for a 5k for Thanksgiving. I'm motivated. Excited. Proud that so far so good.
But damn am I tired. Emotionally, I am PUMPED UP, excited, proud, motivated, ready to change, confident in the changes I've already made. But physically, I feel so sluggish and tired. Sleeping on the bus, getting into bed 30 minutes early. It's like my body hasn't gotten the hint yet.
Is this my body's way of being like "uh, hello, what are you doing?". Am I changing too much to fast? How have other people experienced and gotten past this?
Any advice is appreciate because I don't want my body to win and go back to laziness, I want to stay motivated and kick some ass!
Edited to include stats: 5'1, current weight is 180, 26 year old female.
