So I’m in a predicament. I lost 80lbs, went down to 140lbs maintained it for over a year then gained 12lbs I fluctuate between 150-152lbs. Saw my doctor and was able to start a shot for weight loss (mounjaro, I think that’s how you spell it). The doctor mentioned to have zero carbs and no sugars. I don’t eat sugars or sweets so there was no problem there. But when it comes to carbs I usually have a bit of rice or a small piece of bread.
I generally eat 1200 calories a day, usually walk 3-4X a week and do personal training for an hour each week. This week, since Monday, I’ve had no carbs but each day I’ve been feeling exhausted, having no energy, and even napping which is something I never do.
Today, I had chicken breast with salad then an unwhich sandwich from jimmy johns (turkey sandwich without bread wrapped in lettuce). I went to get up and use the bathroom and I fainted. I couldn’t feel anything in my hands and fingers and I blacked out. Took me 30 minutes to recover. This has never happened to me before. I’m confused if this is due to having no carbs and my body is just not used to that.
Has anyone had anything similar happened if you went on a low carb diet? Was the fainting and dizzy spell unrelated? I’m just confused and this week I’ve felt like I could barely do things as I’m so tired, only walked two days for 20 minutes each. Any help or insight is appreciated.
