Half way there... and no longer obese
Post Body

Buzzing! Just realised I'm 24lbs into my 59lb weight loss journey, meaning I'm half way there!

Also, officially now have a BMI in the overweight range, having been in the obese category for years.

It's taken me 10 months to get this far as I have a prolactinoma (a brain tumor which causes me insane hormonal issues), but I'm slowly getting there.

What a milestone! What milestones have you guys been celebrating?

I've done this through calorie deficit, tracking macros, getting active, hitting the gym. All the very boring things we are told... oh, and majorly cutting back on the alcohol I consume, whilst also tracking every calorie I take in, including liquid calories.

10 months is a long time to live this way, but I truly see it as a journey and a lifestyle change. I feel healthier, happier, and generally more positive. I look better, and have a confidence I've literally never had. Couldn't be happier with how it's all going, even if it is slowwww sometimes

Edited to add: I'm 34f, 5ft7" starting weight was 214lbs and target is 165.
