Maybe this is the wrong sub, so please let me know if I should direct this question elsewhere. Iโve always been in pretty good shape and have stayed active with a healthy diet and within a good weight range for my height (Iโm 5โ5โ and normally sit around 125lbs). But since Iโve turned 30 years old, I notice my weight will fluctuate big time during PMS/Menstruation. Usually 3-5 days before my period my weight will jump up to 135lbs sometimes even 140lbs. Iโm pretty sure itโs just water weight, but it sucks to have all my clothes no longer fit and feel like Iโm continually gaining weight despite diet and exercise. I am on a progesterone supplement for low progesterone, but other than that all my hormone bloodwork comes back normal. For those of you who also bleed monthly, is this normal to be gaining this much water weight around your period? Is this just a fun 30-something thing Iโm dealing with now? ๐ thanks for any & all advice!!
