I’ve been skinny my whole life. In high school atw to freshman year of college I was 6’2 180 lbs. During my freshman year COVID hit and I gained way to much weight I’m now 6’2 240 lbs. I’m not crazy fat, but I obviously have a gut. I’ve worked out I’ve dieted I’ve fasted I’ve done so many things and nothing has worked. To this day I still cook every meal for myself (I only have breakfast and dinner, breakfast of which is very small regardless) and I maintain a good amount of activity anywhere from 3-6 days a week depending on how busy I am whether it’s the gym or sports. I just don’t understand why I can’t lose weight and it’s frustrating me so much because I’ve been trying for years and I know I’ve been doing the stuff I’m supposed to but the weight won’t come off. The best results I achieved were back in 2023 when I was lifting for 6 months. I was able to somehow lose 25 lbs in the first 5 weeks then only lost 5 lbs the remaining weeks of the 6 months. I feel like I can’t lose weight and I’m at a loss. Am I the kind of the person that’s gonna need some shit like Ozempic just to lose weight?
Edit: Some people asked about calorie intake. On my worse day which is very very rare I eat 1800 calories.
