Help! How did you get over a junk food dependance?
Post Body

31F-Around 45 lbs overweight

Hi! I’m hoping to get some advice, I’ve been eating junk food regularly since I was a kid and I eat it a couple times a week; cookies, chips, cake and milkshakes mostly. I want to stop but I don’t know how to, I don’t even enjoy what I’m eating sometimes.

It seems easy, like, just deciding to stop, but it’s not easy at all. I think junk food has been my biggest obstacle every time I’ve tried to lose weight. I do eat healthy food and veggies but I still pack on an extra 1k-2k cals from junk food 2-3 times a week.

If you have been succesful getting over junk food, please share some advice. Thank you.

Trying to meet word count

I don’t know if I can quit cold turkey, I’m thinking I could make healthy healthy veggie chips and that would be okay but the biggest issue is sugar, I think that’s what makes it so difficult to stop eating junk food. I just really enjoy desserts. I just know I’m getting older and it’s really affecting my teeth, my skin and my health overall, so I’m hoping I can make change.
