How do you stay patient?
Post Body

I’ve had an eating disorder for most of my 20s. I recently started a new medication and gained 20kg in two months. This is the first time I’m going to the gym and eating a whole food diet, instead of insanely restricting my calories and throwing up my food.

Don’t get me wrong - I am so proud of myself for my achievements. I feel better about myself every day that passes. But I’m struggling with how to be patient and trust the process.

When you have bulimia you lose weight very quickly. This is what I’m used to. I’m not at risk of relapse, but I’m wondering what you all do to be patient and stay on track.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
