I've lost between 60 and 65 pounds over the last 15 months. Feeling as good about my body as I can given some loose skin. I finally realized I didn't need to lose any more weight (36M, 6'1", ~170 pounds) and that I need to go into maintenance so I can continue body recomposition.
The problem is, the holidays seem like a terrible time to start maintenance! I want to indulge in some sweets and enjoy the season and am willing to make the necessary adjustments to my diet to allow for that but now I'm counting calories more than ever! The sheer number of holiday events that I have to attend between my work and personal life are wreaking havoc with the regularity of my eating and exercise schedule. I swear I've spent more mental energy figuring out what to eat on what days to allow myself to have fun at weekend holiday parties and on the big days than I ever did while actively loosing weight.
Not really looking for anything other than a space to rant but suffice to say I'm very much looking forward to getting through the season so I can settle back in to a more regular routine.
