losing weight and gaining strength with Low testosterone
Post Body

I've been diagnosed with very Low testosterone, I was also 5'11" (still am :-)) and 287lb's. So the last year I've been working out, watching what I'm eating etc and have dropped down to 212lb. I've been doing alot of HIIT full body workouts and my stamina has increased substantially, however I don't feel like my strength has increased particularly. I know that eating at a deficit means I won't be making much muscle gains, but I'm worried that increasing my calories with low testosterone will just mean that I still won't be increasing muscle and will just be adding fat back. Any thoughts? I have an appointment with an endocrinologist later this month so I suspect I will end up on testosterone injections, but I'm curious if people here have any experience with this.
