So...it's been a while since I posted last, mostly because I gave up dieting because of lack of will power. However, I have been on a diet for a week and a day now with NO cheating. I've been trying to sweat for at least thirty minutes a day, wether it be through dancing, kickboxing, or Pilates. I've been consuming 1200 calories a day and drinking only water. To be honest, I feel great. I'm not hungry or tired, and my skin looks fantastic. The best part is when I'm eating healthy and getting exercise, I feel thinner. I know I couldn't have lost much but I feel like it. I weighed in before my new lifestyle began, unfortunately, I don't own a scale, so I don't know how much I've actually lost. Luckily, I also measured myself. Tonight, I was feeling a little down. I didn't get to exercise today because I went to bed super late and was exhausted today, not to mention the mounds of housework I had to do. I also went over my caloric intake by 136 calories. I was feeling angry and fat and then I grabbed my tape measure and was pleasantly surprised. Two inches gone from my waist and one inch from my hips! I felt relieved. I know I can't expect to be perfect everyday. And tomorrow, I'll be well rested and ready to burn more fat!!
