I lost fat and gained muscle at the same time and it's been too hard to maintain

During the pandemic lockdown, I (F22) had plenty of time to focus on my diet and put in hours of exercise a week. I lost 60 lbs in less than a year and was the strongest I'd ever been. I was able to maintain that for a year.

Now, I'm a year into my nursing degree and I've gained it all back. I admit that I've let the focus on my health slip, but I can't put in the same amount of effort I could before I started school.

A question I have is should I focus on losing fat for now and wait to try and gain muscle?
