Hi All, first time poster! I figured that posting about my intentions will be a step toward holding myself accountable and getting fully invested in this community.
I’m 23 / 163cm and weight train mainly, I’m about 73kg right now down from 79.9kg in November 2022 as I knew that passing the 80kg threshold would be a slippery slope. For my first few years of adulthood I was 69kg without being very conscious of my health habits but gained a whole heap of weight from mid-2021 due to a combination of circumstances, mainly lockdown.
Now I am very determined to get back down to 69kg first, then to reach my goal of 62kg and to have a ‘normal’ BMI!
My goal for this month is 10k steps daily and to practice mindful eating as that is what helped me lose the first 6kg and so far so good! I’ll be sure to update at the end of the month, to set a new July goal and I won’t give up!
