I'm trying to start the year off by putting myself out there more. Dating apps haven't really worked out, and I've developed tennis elbow from swiping so much. So, I figure this would be worth a try again. I've had some interesting conversations with people on here, and I'm hoping to have new ones that can translate into fun dates. Going out to the movies, museums, visiting theme, parks, and in general exploring city. Also a big fan of lazy nights in with popcorn and a movie or game. I'm trying to get out there and really make the best of this new year.
About me: 33, Mexican, living in the San Gabriel Valley. I am educated, work a regular corporate-ish job Monday through Friday, with plenty of time for hobbies and hangouts. I would describe myself as funny, curious, and kind. I enjoy hearing from other people and learning from them, and just in general getting to know them. I would describe my interest as eclectic, ranging from a wide variety of music to reading anything from comics to classic literature.
Hopefully, I can connect with someone that lives close enough that we can make it a regular thing. I'd love for us to go on some dates and do some cute stuff together. I'm open to platonic friends as well, but I'm really emphasizing a more intimate connection. I really have a thing for dry, sarcastic, humor, and if you're cute and nerdy, then you'll just about make my knees buckle.
If you're interested, please feel free and reaching out. Happy to trade pictures. But let's talk a bit first. Tell me what you've been reading or a recent movie that you watched that really got to you. Maybe you can tell me about your day or your week. What are you hoping for from the new year? You can tell me anything you want. :)
