When oh when will the kings learn their lesson about Quick and having a real 2nd...
So I am a regin season ticket holder, and as such we get to see guys like Campbell long before they hit the big team. As you see these kids you sometimes I think WOW this kid is going to make it...other times you think no way, or at least not now. For Example.
Michael Hutchinson came to use when we where ECHL. You saw this kid play and just thought holy crap this kid is good. He quickly went to the AHL and then off to the NHL all in a season. No surprise there.
Kids like Kempe, you see them play and you know it is just a matter of time for them to get a call up and you pretty much guarantee you wont see them again.
However when we got Campbell he seemed good, but very hot and cold. I thought ya maybe one day he will be a good #2. Good kid to call up at the end of the season and let him get a couple games.
The he got the call up when we traded Keumper. I was surprised he stayed up as a #2. Then he made it out of camp this year. Now we are watching him trying to be a #1 and he is loosing games for us. I dont know what Budaj is playing like but it sure cant be any worse.
As an organization we really dont have any other options right now. Peterson is not ready to be a #2 and behind him we have...????
