Hey yall first post here but just wanted to share the setting I use for my Call of Cthulhu game

The story takes place in the small town of Good Springs, located in the California desert during the 1950s. Good Springs is a quiet and isolated town that relies on the mining industry for its livelihood. However, after a mine collapse killed several workers, the town has fallen into economic decline. The collapsed mine is now known as the "Yawning Grave" and is considered a dangerous place due to its unstable structure.

Despite the town's troubles, there are rumors of strange happenings in Good Springs. Some people claim that the lake is haunted, while others whisper about a secret cult that worships an enigmatic entity called the "Emerald Star." The cult is secretive, and only a few people know about its existence. However, many in the town are suspicious of the cult and view it as a potential danger.

Good Springs is also home to a notorious biker gang. They don't have a name, but they are feared by many in the town. The bikers were once employed by the mining company and blame them for the mine collapse. They drove the mining company out of town and now control many of the town's businesses. They are rough and violent, and many people avoid crossing their paths.
