Stock upgrade: How much of a difference does it make
Post Body

And yes, I've gathered from following you folks for a long time that it does make a difference, I just want to understand fully why. If you buy a budget rifle with a plastic stock the first thing everyone does is throws a chassis or a Boyds stock on it. The common complaint is they feel "floppy" when fired. In a single shot scenario, it occurs to me that the effects are only felt by the shooter after the bullet has long since done it's potential damage. Is the issue that when sending multiple rounds in succession there is a stability issue? I suppose what I'm getting at is I have a "budget build" and I would love to throw a nicer looking (read:expensive) stock on it and I'm trying to make sure I'm throwing money in the right direction. I'm still a newb, still learning, and still working up to longer range. Thanks all for the info
