Beach for Canopy and Cooking?

What is a good beach on the south shore where we could set up a canopy and use a propane grill? Not sure where thats allowed and preferably someplace not crazy busy like long beach so we can setup without annoying other people.

Does that include any car driving onto the beach? We'd be bringing multiple cars most likely, one of which being a 4 runner with our supplies. So yeah definitely an option
