Help a noob?
Post Body
I am relatively new to longboarding. I mostly use it as a way of transportation throughout my town. Currently I own a Santa Cruz drop-through board; all the bearings, wheels, and trucks are completely stock. I have had it for a few months, but I have been considering getting another by the end of summer. What brands of boards do you guys suggest? From what I have been told Sector 9 boards are ones to stray away from. Also, are there any tips you could give me?
EDIT: I would like to learn how to start sliding and doing some tricks. What was your guys' learning experience like? When I start to crouch down though I feel like I'm going to fall backwards.
