Anyone else force themselves to stay awake long after they're tired to avoid the crippling loneliness that comes from trying to sleep alone? To run away from the thoughts of never being able to receive affection from anyone other than their mum or dad? To keep away the ache that comes when hugging a pillow stops working and the breakdown that comes after?
