For the last four years (since before Covid) I have not seen any family during the holidays except my mom or dad (my mom and I have been getting along better) and both have health issues so it’s hard for them to do things. I have not gotten along with any extended family on my moms side, and my dads side of the family everyone is scattered and has moved away.
Was personally thinking of joining an in person chess tournament in my area during that time, but I don’t know of any that run on Thanksgiving weekend
