We need to talk about how quickly you get attached to others when being lonely

I texted with someone for the very first time recently and we immediately clicked, we only texted for 2-3h or so, now we barely talked the past 2 days and i'm in a down again because of that. I hate how mf quickly I get attached when someone just shows me the least but of attention, and how quickly i get dependent. I wish this would end, I want to be able to controle my emotions.
Do any of you have similar experiences?
