About a year or so ago I stopped continuing with my online friendships so I could make more real connections irl, but after getting to know a bunch of people since then, I find myself not liking them as much as my online friends. Maybe I’m being too picky, but it’s so much easier finding people I have things in common with online. A big factor to all of this is that there’s nobody quite like me who shares my interests that lives nearby. How would you recommend being more open to irl friends and connections? Also, is there anywhere you’d recommend making friends online that isn’t here?
