Someone told me I was too old to be in college
Post Body

I’m 28 and in my sophomore year of college. I haven’t made any friends yet. I went out socializing yesterday and I met some people. We were talking and they ended up asking me my age I told them 28 and one of the guys was like aren’t you a bit old to be in college are you a grad student or something? I said no and he was like oh. As time passed they all slowly started to move away from me. I feel like I failed at life starting college so late. I was in the military and I wasn’t able to get my degree unfortunately. I feel like I won’t be able to make friends because of my age. Should I just put my head down and just finish.

Yea what if we actually became good friends and my birthday was to come up. What do I say then?
