The two are very different.
People often trespass the "Lonely" space, just because they are temporarily bored. It is unfair on the people who are really lonely. Boredom is not loneliness, it is just a temporary break from usual activities which will end as soon as it is time for the next activity coming up.
Loneliness however, is total despair from not wanting any activity at all, because it is too much to indulge OR, total despair from not having any activity due to depression.
We ought to know the difference and not hog up attention where unwarranted.
To all the truly lonely people here, I wish you the strength to keep going!
