Bit late this month

Been busy in the real world, but also have been in discussion with the other mods on several subjects in the sub.

Say hello

After a great post and a generally fantastic chat with them over the last couple of months, u/SpicyDynamicDuo is joining us on the mod team. She will be mostly helping with looking at some of the posts and helping with increasing their quality.

Someone suggested adding her post to the wiki, and you can find it here.

She will also be engaging with other women in our community to build this page over time.

Tags and inclusivity

An important part of the community here is that we are accepting of all people. Now categorisation is not a thing I really care too much about, but the tags on the posts are not entirely representative of the people who post. This is something I will be working on.

To add to that, sexuality and gender are only to be defined by oneself. It is not the prerogative of anyone else to comment on anyone's being. Therefore, if you are found to be redefining sexuality or gender then is it an immediate ban, no ifs or buts, and consider this your warning.

LondonR4R census

u/thelostboi will be looking to put together a poll so we can learn more about who is posting, reading, and replying in our community. This will give us a great deal of insight so we can make LondonR4R a better place for all and work towards our shared purpose of meeting like-minded people in London for mutual and consensual experiences.

With that, we want to make sure that the questions we ask are going to be the right ones to represent everyone here. Therefore, we would to hear from more women, anyone from the LGBQT community, and guys from the M4M crowd to ensure we are asking the right question in a way that is inclusive and not just leading from just the male, straight point of view.

Overall

We continue to learn and understand those in our community. I am active in bringing on board a diverse team of Moderators for the benefit of everyone. I believe that the most important thing to keep doing is to build with the community, and not for them.
