Hey there!
This post is short and sweet. I was going to see a play at the National Theatre in London tomorrow, but my friend had to cancel on me at the last moment. So I have a spare ticket, and nobody to go with!
Instead of selling the ticket or returning it for a refund, I thought it would be very fun and lovely to meet a fellow Redditor, and to enjoy the serendipitous coincidence of a fun encounter.
About me:
I'm a Philosophy and Classics student, who recently graduated from my Bachelors, and I'm now in the UK for a year of further study abroad. It's my first time living in London, I've been here barely for a fortnight-- but I'm thoroughly enjoying everything that I see.
About the performance:
The performance that we'll be viewing is Hamed and Hessam Amiri's The Boy with Two Hearts. It's about a young Afghan family fleeing from the war, and making their way to asylum in the UK. It's based off a true story, and has some great reviews -- and this will be my first time visiting the National Theatre :)
Let me know if you'll be interested! The performance is at 7:30pm (19:00), but we can meet up earlier nearby at around 6:30m, grab a coffee, and get to know each other. Then we'll head in to the Theatre at 7:15pm, and enjoy the performance!
Do message me if this sounds like something that you'll wanna do!
Tips on Contacting Me:
I welcome both DMs and Messages. But I enjoy the most people who write a little about themselves, instead of just a quick and anonymous 'hi.' If you send me a photo of yourself, I will be sure to send you one of my own.
