Seeking a friend
Long story short - any valuable form of human connection is missing in my life and I think it's about time I do something about it.
About me:
I'm 36 born and raised in London.
British Asian (the brown kind)
Short, slim and peculiar looking.
Averagely educated, not particularly well travelled. Introverted (not shy), pseudo intellectual. Most of what I know if very surface level.
Likes:
I like the outdoors, long walks listening to true crime podcast.
Dry sense of humour. I enjoy satire, I like to laugh at myself and can be excessively self deprecating.
Personality:
I would say I'm misanthropic but I've come to realise that's a dEfEnSe MeChAnIsM.
I'm prone to melancholy.
I love philosophy but realised I could never make a career out of it. Instead I work a half decent paying but stressful job.
I watch and excessive amount of film and TV. Anything above 7 stars on Imdb must be consumed.
Music? Yes I am the cliche who has "eclectic" tastes.
I'm a voracious reader (mostly fiction)
I drink and smoke occasionally
