Why does the southdale & wonderland intersection lights suck so bad

I work at the home depot thats roght there on nights, on my way to work at 9pm, the light is even and gives both ways more than enough time to cross, but in the morning walking home, it takes five mins for the wonderland light to change, and then the southdale light doesnt even give you time to cross!! Rant over😂
