London club questions
Post Body

Hi, Everyone!

I live in San Francisco and will be coming to London for Pride at the end of June. It will be my first visit to the UK and I am super excited! I am looking for insights on clubs plus I have a few practical questions, please.

I'm a 47-year-old gay guy and professional. I don't go out often these days but when I do, I hit it hard LOL! The club scene in San Francisco is fabulous and very welcoming of all kinds of people. The clubs I generally like have house music and sexy, edgy/hipster men.

Normally, I will buy tickets to a few parties and hit them one after another. Many of our San Francisco clubs stay open until 4:00 AM so you can hit a few on a night out. Taxi rides between clubs take 10 to 15 minutes.

For London Pride, I plan to hang out in Soho until it's time to head to the night clubs. I searched online and found a few interesting events, including Trough, WE Party, and G-A-Y.

Are these parties close enough together and open late so that I could hit a few of them? Or, do people in London usually go to one party and stay there all night? Do you like these parties or are there others you'd suggest?

Also, how strict are they at the door about IDs? I could bring my passport if needed but my California ID is much smaller and easy to carry around.

Thanks for your help figuring this out :)
