The autumn always brings a certain melancholy and a yearning for the past. The season reminds me of the excitement that came with the beginning of a new term starting at uni. I fondly remember how alive and positive about the future I felt back then. The world just seemed full of unexplored possibilities.
I still enjoy the autumn and although I am more settled and many decisions have been made, I remain optimistic. I am 42, live a settled life, am grounded and stable. I am overall happy and fulfilled. I do miss a bit of a sense of adventure though. I would like to build some new connections, widen my circle beyond what it currently is.
If what I wrote resonates, you are an educated and articulate woman who would to meet for a nice lunch in central London, do get in touch. Let's share some thoughts.
