Ideally I'd like to put to use my chemistry degree in a way that still allows me to pursue my acting career - so a temp lab assistant with flexible hours :)
I have a 2:1 honours in chemistry. My lab experience includes synthetic (both organic and inorg.) and analytical, mainly using IR, Raman, UV-Vis and a bit of NMR and Mass-spec. Limited use of HPLC and other chromatographic techniques.
Additionally, I have worked in hospitality, sales, admin and quality control. I have a good typing speed, am extremely personable and pick up new skills quickly. I am physically fit and not adverse to a bit of heavy lifting. I also have intermediate fluency in German.
I'm a New Zealander who graduated in 2011, but then I decided I really wanted to act and have been pursuing that since. I still have an avid interest in all things scientific, but know that performing is what I need to do.
However, I'm pretty open to any job at the moment just to pay bills.
How to contact me: PM and I'll send through my email address.
