Apologies for a really lame question, but I'm feeling particularly lame right now.
If you're using public transport at the moment (especially the tube), I wondered what it was like? Are we back to normal crowded carriages, or is calmer? What's the level of mask-wearing like/people sitting next to each other? Do we still have the same rush hours, or is it anyone's guess on a given day?
I haven't caught the tube since March 2020 (for various reasons including the obvious, have pretty much developed severe anxiety) and am trying to psych myself up to catching it again. Basically, trying to reintegrate into normal life. I'm not normally this pathetic, promise. I have a lot of sad stuff going on personally and the last year has just broken me.
It doesn't help that I used to catch the Northern line in rush hour, so I associate getting on the tube with my face being shoved up some tall banker's armpit and strange men pressing themselves up against me. I think there's a definite Pavlovian response going on.
Most interested in observations on the Northern, Bakerloo, Victoria and Piccadilly lines within Z1 to 3.
