We're looking for a hacker victim from London to tell their story in an educational short documentary that will be launched on Youtube. This is your chance to help others not be in the same situation and share your learning experience with the world.
We're the communications team from Proton, a privacy-first company based in Switzerland. We provide secure ways for people to keep their data safe online such as encrypted email, drive, calendar, and VPN. We've working on an educational video featuring a study we ran on UK attitudes about privacy and security online.
If you've been a victim of a hack and you are based in the London area, we would love to hear your story. We understand this is a stressful (and even traumatic) experience for a person. While this will be a video interview, if you are not comfortable showing your identity, we can find ways to present your story while respecting your privacy. The interview will happen over video call and you will be rewarded with a Proton gift card and be featured in a video shown to over half a million people.
If you or someone you know is interested, please DM us on Reddit with some details about your story. Thank you!
