It seems that I must have missed something, because I don't see the greatness I was expecting. Please correct my misunderstandings:
First, we get past the End of Time, to a broken down castle.
What. A. Dump.
What self respecting villain or existential threat would choose to live in that place?
All alone, without anything more than a holographic minion who apparently can't even weild a broom and dust pan.
Not to belabour the point, but what is the point of winning a multiversal time war if you're going to live like that?
Then there's our apparent antagonist...
He was not impressive or scary. And, through no fault of the actor, not even interesting.
For those of us not geeky enough, we still don't even know who he is.
Some normal-ish looking black human does not look like a lizardly Kang to me.
Other than leaping around like a jack rabbit, he didn't show any superiority or threat to the Lokis.
This is our villain or multiversal conquerer?
If he was "the good guy," that didn't show either. He was a wee bit of a douche.
All that jibberjabber and there wasn't even much in the way of exposition.
Except that he took credit for the multiversal time wars; cause and cessation. (Again... Him? Really?)
The rest, well, we've had all season to learn about branches and stuff, so there was no new information.
No one here seems to be asking any of the questions I am, so I clearly must be missing a lot.
Help me out here?
