Harmony hub not changing channels correctly

So I just bought a harmony hub (no remote) have it hooked up to my TV, Xfinity X1 box, and also my Alexa. Learned that you have to say "Alexa ask harmony to turn the TV on/off, or Alexa ask harmony to pause the TV, and of course Alexa ask harmony to turn up/down the TV volume". All of those commands work. The one that doesn't is changing the channel. I have the settings set correctly, but it acts like it doesn't want to enter all the numbers and/or "hit" the okay button to finish the process. Anyone else experience this issue?
