Like many others, I love my Logitech MX Anywhere 2S and have relied on the gesture mapping to really integrate it into my workflows..
… but I’ve had nothing but frustration from logi options daemon with it constantly hanging and losing not only gesture support but also losing scroll wheel function. It’s a pain to have to keep activity monitor handy and kill the daemon 10 times a day.
This was happening on my old intel MBP and it’s been happening more frequently since moving to Apple silicon. From what I can ascertain it seems to be an issue with the daemon, but is exacerbated by Rosetta.
I have previously logged support stuff with Logitech, but their response was to update to the latest version, which I’ve tried many times and with whatever permutations I could think of.
I just stumbled across Steer Mouse as a possible solution, but am naturally hesitant to grant input monitoring to an app from a developer I don’t know.

Has anyone used this? Is it good? Would you say it’s safe?
