Hi, everyone. Sorry for the re-post - Had the wrong flair and I think I got ignored because I was asking for a "Discussion" rather than support. :(
I had a set of Z906 speakers and, when they finally died, I figured the best bet was to simply buy another set and replace them. It already worked, and I liked it, so why not simply swap them out?
I replaced all the speakers, the controller and the subwoofer and all the cables and ran a sound test in 5.1 surround, but the front right speaker played nothing. When I tested the subwoofer, the sound came out through the front right speaker. When I unplugged the speaker, the subwoofer sound came out through the subwoofer instead.
I spoke to Logitech support who were confused and suggested it might be a faulty product and sent out another one. After unhooking and replacing everything I had the same issue.
The speaker itself works fine, I've swapped it with other speakers and the item itself works. The cables appear to be plugged into the correct sockets on my computer and the subwoofer. All other speakers play their sound clearly. The only problem is the front, right speaker which seems to want to be the subwoofer.
Any suggestions would be very welcome. I'm running Windows 10 and haven't changed anything else since swapping out the old speakers and putting in the new ones.
