Small loc amount

I just got my starter braids In yesterday done by my cousins, but I’m worried about the amount. I only have like 89 braids and they’re kinda small. Hopefully you guys can see them in the picture well enough. Will it look weird as they mature? Should I have gotten them smaller with more locs?
