Hello all,
I was first exposed to lock picking back when I was 13. My step dad had a set of picking tools and let me play around with them. I opened a few locks with them (really just raking) and that was it.
Fast forward 30 years and I decided I wanted to take this up as a hobby. It really interests me. I ordered my first lock pick set (the Genesis set from Covertinstruments.com) and it will be here on Saturday! I also ordered a few locks to start working on once it the genesis set gets here. I ordered a ML 141D to start out on so I can get the feeling of SPP and the feedback from it, and then I have a Brinks 45mm (that's all the markings I can find on it) to graduate to once I'm comfortable understanding the feedback of SPP from the 141D.
I just wanted to say hi to everyone and I can't wait to dive in!
