19 y/o LO in Texas. To start I got licensed in mid October and I had a full time job at AT&T but quit last week due to the lack of flexibility when I told my manager I needed Saturday and Sunday to attend open houses.
I have had 0 meetings with Realtors after cold calling and cold Dming to the tune of 100s of agents. I have a so-so relationship with a newish realtor but he struggles to communicate and we plan to meet next week. Any Realtors I’ve met from an open house just simply haven’t responded.
I have one App (yay) currently and the borrower still hasn’t ordered his credit report I asked him two days ago to and again this morning and he simply left me on read.
I’m starting a new Full Time job that has a bit more weekend flexibility allowing me to attend much more open houses. I also started a tiktok account where I’ll be providing mortgage education.
What should I do? Do I just need to keep calling? Going to open houses? Start doing Google and Facebook ads? I just want to get the ball rolling! I find it very strange that we have to beg realtors for their business though.
