Did you change careers and come back to find out you matured and became better than before? I want to be remote again
Post Body

Update: Well I apologize everyone. I regret this post lol. I was looking for an experiential conversation about maturing in the workplace/industry and if mindsets changed when giving it another go.

Thanks for everyone providing their 2 cents on the state of the market, but not what I was looking for.

Best of luck out there yall.

Hoping to not make this another “should I jump back in?” post.

I was a call center refi guy. Started in a shit market 8 years ago made no money and then got cocky when times were easy. Didn’t try too hard like the old guys who had been around the block who tripled/quadrupled my take home, but made enough to be wildly satisfied with my income and felt very accomplished.

I’m looking to hop back in not for the money, but strictly for the remote flexibility.

Trying to get a feel if my mindset would change once I’m back in the trenches now that I’ve experienced low salary and no flexibility in terms of where I do my job from

Thoughts from those that have been around the block??
