Golf Course Advertising?

I get hit up for this on the regular. Had a partner Realtor do it so I'm thinking about it a little harder.
Anyone do it and get any value? I don't golf and would never be at the courses.
My opinion is that it's like billboard - only of value if you have a larger "everywhere at once" type of ad campaign for market branding.
