I am running Linux on a chromebook in dual boot, im thinking about switching totally but for now i toggle between, In my LMMS i dont have vestige at all there for no VSTs ( i assume) . Ive tried to bring in a vst but there was nothing that would open it. no Vestige...ive doe some research and most forums say i have a broken build . I have been using patman for most of what i assume i would use vestige for (ive never used it so i dont know what it brings to the tabl other then VSts). Ive seen some people say its a wine issue, i downloaded wine a month after my initial LMMS install, did sudo update upgrade and nothing. Ive also seen people say if i do some of the suggested fixes i may loose Patman , and patman being my main plugin ( basicaly only plugin i use) i woldnt dare jeprodize that!My problem is not knowing where to start to fix it,

Questions

1: is it becasue im running dual boot and chrome os is stopping it

2: do i need to reinstall LMMS a different/specific way differnet from my inital install

3: How do i know all installed right

4: Is there an example of the correct fully functional LMMS (youtube videos and tutorials are scarce and not so informative as they are opioinated)

5: Will the wine reinstall (assumming i have the right wine version i got it from the software center) get it all stright and/orr will i loose patman

Im growing to love LmMS but i need a STAR TO FINISH (terminal install to plug in use and expot, midi controller set up more) guide book (LINUX! NOT WINDOWS ETTC) or somthing. If there is one link it to me but mainly need those questions answered and fix my possible new favorite DAW
