I am a W-2 employee for a company for the last 17 years. I've been doing side work for some extra cash and subcontracted for a company that I know I will be getting a 1099. Maybe this should be going to a PCA/
Can I open a business and it make it so that my name can't be cross referenced as the owner?
Do I have to open a "business" or can I continue to do side work and claim my deductions.
I do not plan on going full blown on my owns but want to continue to pick up side work.
Thank you for your help and guidance
