Mics cutting in and out

At the church I work at, I can’t figure out where the problem is. We use: Shure SLX4 Shure BLX88 Shure ULXP4
And they’re cutting in and out during services. Seems to be the BLX88 more than anything, the SLX4 is on a podium. I was thinking a short with the body pack wire, they are handled a lot during the services. Maybe interference, there is a police officer posted outside for security, maybe his car radio. Trying to figure out a solution before buying all new gear.
