What was your experience like? When can you be anchored overnight without being bothered? The only marina I know about that lets you liveaboard is McCuddy's marina, but I'm sure there is a waiting list considering how rare liveaboard marinas are. I'm also on SSDI and work part time. Rent prices are way too much and I hate living in houses and not having easy access to natural surroundings (city life sucks, but I need to be connected to the city for resources and my current job). I'm taking sailing/boating lessons soon, I already have enough saved up for my boat, all I need is a place to live on my boat in the area. Also, are there marinas that let you build your own boat on premises? A lot of marinas don't seem to allow anything outside of repairs and general maintenance.
