Hey everyone, this is a question directed at anyone who is an EMT, nurse or practitioner. But if you also have any heartwarming stories and you are not in the field please feel free to respond as well.
My question is as follows. And I’m asking from a deep place of fear as I currently am experimenting my seizure warning signs and it sometimes leads to hospital trips. Okay here goes breathes deeply do you tend as a professional once you determine signs that someone is a little whether they are alone and afraid or with a caregiver, do you find that your demeanour changes when helping them? And do you do anything different that you don’t normally do with adults to help comfort them?
When I’m hurt I get very small and have realized that in the past I have experienced wonderful professionals, but I’m feeling at unease for some reason and just need some reassurance. As we all know there are some that lack bedside manner, compassion and sometimes even professionalism.
