Post Body

Without getting too personal- I used to have really really! bad nightmares but during that time I was able to roll over, wake up my daddy, and he’d hold me and talk to me and comfort me and make everything better. Or if he wasn’t beside me, call him and he’d almost always answer.

Thank God, I don’t have such bad ones anymore or as frequently but I still do have nightmares sometimes and they’re still really scary.

Right now when I wake up from a nightmare, I turn on the lights/ reorient myself to reality. Then I lay back down and pray and snuggle my Sophia bear tight. Sometimes if it’s real bad I’ll rock and hum to myself until I feel okay again.

Does anyone have any advice about how to handle nightmares as a little with no Daddy? Is this something other littles/cgs have experienced? What do y’all do?

Thank you!
